Abhishek Jamwal

abhishek jamwal

Abhishek joined the Higgins Lab in 2017 as a postdoctoral research associate.

He previously studied for his PhD in the group of Dr. Amit Sharma at ICGEB, New Delhi, where he investigated the structural basis of action of enzymes involved in phosphate metabolism of P. falciparum and T. brucei. He also used structural methods to study substrate specificities of acidocalcisome vacuolar soluble proteins (aVSPs) and used structural knowledge to identify specific anti-parasite lead compounds.
