Brendan Farrell wins poster prize at BCA winter meeting

A number of us attended the winter meeting of the Biological Structures group of the British Crystallographic Association and enjoyed an exciting day of excellent presentations.

We also took the chance to share some of our work. Alex Cook was selected to give a talk on ‘How do African trypanosomes evade the innate immune system’ while both Abhishek Jamwal and Brendan Farrell presented posters.

Brendan even scooped the ‘People’s choice’ poster prize for his poster “Structure of the PfRCR complex which bridges the malaria parasite and erythrocyte during invasion”.
