Congratulations to Dr Natalie Barber!
Natalie successfully defended her thesis this afternoon, impressing her examiners with her structural characterisation of antibodies that block invasion of Plasmodium vivax into reticulocytes and of a synthetic EPCR-binding protein. She is staying with us until autumn 2020 so look out for more exciting science. But now, time for a glass of champagne or two!
