We were delighted to be joined by three excellent students this year for their final year research projects – Clare Wolfle, Malhar Khushu and Riming (Sunny) Huang. Despite their experience being affected by the spectre of COVID-19, all three made major contributions to our research and all were awarded first class marks for their projects by the Examiners.
Particular congratulations to Sunny, who was awarded the Biochemical Society Award. This is given to one of the Oxford University Biochemistry finalists “to a student who has made a positive contribution to the development of a branch of Biochemistry. Moreover, the student may have put in extra effort into their project to enable their own research and the research of others in the laboratory to progress.” Sunny was a worthy recipient.
