Lewis is studying at Hertford College and joined the lab in 2026 for his final year masters project. He is working with Brendan Farrell to investigate the structure and interactions within the PfPCRCR complex of the malaria parasite, towards the goal of better understanding the mechanisms by which malaria invades erythrocytes.
Prior to joining the lab, he completed a summer placement in the Zanetti lab at the Francis Crick Institute where he used techniques such as CryoET and CLEM to investigate the mechanism of collagen secretion in human fibroblast cells.
