Matt is delighted to have been elected a member of the European Molecular Biology Organisation (EMBO).
Matt was one of 60 researchers from across Europe, and six based in the UK to be elected this year.
On hearing the news, Matt said "It is an honour to accept membership of EMBO on behalf of my wonderful research team. It is so important that scientific research is unconstrained by national borders and EMBO plays a powerful role in promoting life sciences across Europe. It will be a pleasure to engage with colleagues across the continent as an EMBO member to help further this aim.'"
