Prior to this, Matthew completed a 10-week studentship in David Barford's lab at Cambridge MRC LMB: Cryo-ET of mitotic spindles and single particle Cryo-EM of inner kinetochore proteins.
In 2022, Matthew joined us for a summer project Investigating how trypanosome parasites evade the immune system: Biophysical studies of ISG65 mutants and their ability to bind complement C3.
He is now studying for his D. Phil. on the Wellcome-funded D. Phil. program in Cellular Structural Biology.
