Four members of the lab attended a fantastic ParaFrap conference 2025 on lovely Les Embiez, with both Sam Chamberlain and Alex Cook selected to speak.
Sam presented his work on “Snapshot of a battle between parasite and host immunity: RIFINs on Plasmodium falciparum bind to both KIR2DL1 and KIR2DS1” while Alex presented on “How do African trypanosomes evade the complement system”.
It was a real pleasure to spent three days listening to some fascinating parasitology talks and to spend time with colleagues, new and old, developing new ideas for projects.
